This CD contains "nineteen episodes from the adventures of the Triffids". It is hard to believe such intense music did not receive much comercial success outside of Scandinavia, Germany, UK, The Netherlands and the Triffids home country of Australia. If you are interested in guitar driven, moody, melodramatic rock with awesome vocals and a deep deep sound, get this CD. Or at least get it as the finest sample of 80s Aussie rock. (compared to: Nick Cave, Black-Eyed Susans, Freedy Johnston, old REM, The The, Tears for Fears, The Swans, maybe even The Smiths)Get your download here
