The discography of the Kronos Quartet includes 40 studio albums, 3 compilations, 5 soundtracks, and 26 contributions to other artists' records. The Kronos Quartet (often referred to as "Kronos" or "The Kronos") plays contemporary classical music and was founded in 1973 by violinist David Harrington. Since 1978, they are based in San Francisco, California. This is an 1995 release with some well know compositions.

"Amaia Montero" is the debut solo album by Spanish singer Amaia Montero, after a eleven-year music career as the frontwoman for La Oreja de Van Gogh. It was released in Spain on November 18, 2008 by Sony BMG. "Quiero Ser" (English: I want to be) was the first single released from the album.

Henryk Górecki has established himself as one of the most well-known composers of the late twentieth century, with a musical style whose poignancy and accessibility found a broad and diverse audience. His worldwide recognition was rather slow in coming, however, and although his orchestral and chamber works from the 1960s and 1970s found favor with audiences in Poland and some critics abroad, it was the Third that eventually catapulted Górecki into the classical music spotlight.
The Symphony No. 3, subtitled "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs," is scored for orchestra with soprano soloist and is cast in three somber movements.

This album, which catapulted Polish composer Henryk Gorecki to into the international spotlight, takes texts born in pain and turns them into statements of affirmation through the use of music that ebbs and flows in mystic minimalism. The clear voice of soprano Dawn Upshaw, singing the Polish texts, is a large part of the success of this particular recording, but the music, contemporary without either dissonance or movie-music mawkishness, clarifies and uplifts the words. This is a moving and essential element of the modern repertoire. (Thanks R+C)

Judgment Night is the soundtrack to the film of the same name. It was released on September 14, 1993 through Epic Records and was produced by many of the album's performers. Every song on the soundtrack was a collaboration between hip-hop artists and rock artists.

Sometimes i stumble upon compilations that are amazing. This compilation contains various tracks that are related to Africa. Mostly because of the use of African percussion rythms but also because all tracks are very relaxed lo-fi and downtempo. Sitback and relax with this beautiful African Paradise compilation.
